Five New Faculty Join the Center

The Center is very pleased to welcome five new faculty on board, all assistant professors who joined UC Irvine in Fall 2007. From computer science, we welcome Charless Fowlkes (computer vision and bioinformatics), Alex Ihler (statistical learning and inference), Deva Ramanan (computer vision), and Xiaohui Xie (bioinformatics) - and from cognitive science we welcome Lisa Pearl (computational language modeling).
