About the speaker

Megan Peters is an Assistant Professor in the UCI Department of Cognitive Sciences and a Cooperating Researcher at the Department of Decoded Neurofeedback at ATR in Kyoto, Japan. She received her Ph.D. in computational cognitive neuroscience from UCLA. Her research aims to reveal how the brain represents and uses uncertainty and performs adaptive computations based on noisy, incomplete information, using neuroimaging, computational modeling, machine learning, and neural stimulation.
