Abstract

A talk on analyzing deep neural networks using attribution methods — including integrated gradients, counterfactual and Shapley-value approaches, and attributing predictions to training data — to understand and debug model behavior (for example, discovering that a cancer-from-X-rays model was fixating on radiologist markings).
