Graduate Students Win International Data Mining Competition


Chloe Azencott and S. Josh Swamidass, two graduate students in Professor Pierre Baldiļ¾’s lab, finished in 1st and 2nd place respectively in the data mining competition “Agnostic Learning vs. Prior Knowledge” part of the International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN) 2007 Conference, a major international conference in the field of neural networks.
